    Ingredients

    • 2 cups grits
    • 8 cups water
    • 3 tsp. salt
    • 4 eggs slightly beaten
    • 2/3 cup butter
    • 1 lb cream cheese
    • 1 lb ground sausage (cooked)

Directions

1. Preheat ove to 350
2. Mix together grits, water, and salt. Bring to a slow boil and cook until water is dissolved and grits are thick.
3. Add small portion of grits to egg, and then pour into pan.
4. Add butter and cream cheese and mix until melted. Add sausage.
5. Pour into 13x9 greased pan and bake for 30 minutes.
