Cherry-Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies Filed in Cookies

Chef's Notes


The estimated prep time for this recipe is 10 minutes and 10 minutes each cookie pan cook time.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Slowly add to butter mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in oats dried cherries and dark chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on pan for 1 minute and then transfer to wire rack.

Yield: 2 1/2 dozen
